1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains cancellations and refunds for Exercode subscriptions and one-time exercise bundle purchases. It is part of our commitment to clear billing and dispute prevention.
Nothing here limits mandatory rights under applicable consumer laws in your jurisdiction.
2. Subscriptions
**Cancellation:** You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation stops renewal; you typically retain access through the end of the current prepaid period.
**Refund window (new subscriptions):** If you purchased a subscription for the first time, you may request a full refund within **14 days** of the initial charge if you have not substantially used paid-only features in bad faith. We may ask a few questions to process the request fairly.
**Renewals:** Renewal charges are generally non-refundable except where required by law, because you received the full prior period of access. You can cancel before the next renewal date to avoid future charges.
3. One-Time Exercise Bundles
One-time purchases grant **permanent digital access** to the named exercise bundle (topic + exercise count) for your account.
**Refund window:** You may request a refund within **7 days** of purchase if you have **accessed fewer than 10%** of the exercises in that bundle. "Accessed" includes opening an exercise detail page in a way that delivers the full instructional content, as recorded by our systems.
**After the window or above the threshold:** Purchases are generally final, except where required by law or at our discretion for clear technical failure on our side (e.g., you were unable to access any purchased content despite reasonable troubleshooting).
4. How to Request a Refund
Email support@exercode.com with:
• Your account email • Order date and amount (or receipt ID) • Whether the request is for a subscription or a specific exercise bundle purchase • A brief description of the issue
We aim to respond within **24 hours** on business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible; timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
5. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Before opening a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue. Chargebacks without contacting support may result in account suspension pending review.
We will provide evidence of delivery (access logs, order description) to payment processors when appropriate.
